p>We haven't seen much of Minecraft Earth in a while. It is an augmented reality version of the game that turns the real world into a playground full of your blocky creations. The company said that a beta version of the game would be available in the summer. The game is now available, and with a brand new trailer for the game, the company has announced that it will be available on iOS in the next two weeks. Android will follow "soon afterward."

p>After seeing live gameplay at WWDC last month, the release of iOS-first shouldn't be too surprising. While this new trailer has lots of details on how you'll play the game and what it will be like, interested players might be interested in revisiting the Apple demo to get more feel for what it will be like to share the virtual Minecraft world with their friends, which overlays the real one.

p>To be one of the first players to gain access, you'll need sign up for the free game right here (you'll need a device with at minimum iOS 10 or Android 7 to play, as per the FAQ). https://gservers.org/ Access to the game is limited as they build load on the game's servers, however you'll need to be active to stay in it -- if you do not play for seven consecutive days, another player will get your slot. To register, you will need a Microsoft or Xbox Live account. Once you've registered and have a password, you are left with nothing more than waiting and building.

p>Are you thinking that life is good? It's about to turn into a BETA! The Minecraft Earth closed beta is scheduled to be played in a handful of locations. Find out more about the beta and sign up for the chance to play!
